Yvonne Connolly opens up about Ronan Keating’s affair

Yvonne Connolly has said that she found out about her ex-husband Ronan Keating’s affair by looking at the former couple’s phone bills just as they were about to move into a new house together.

The couple had been married from 1998 to 2015 and had three children when Connolly discovered the singer had had an affair with backing dancer, Francine Cornell.

Appearing on Wednesday night’s edition of RTÉ show Cutting Edge, the 44-year-old former model said, "We were about to move into our new house. So, no, I didn’t see it coming at all."

After examining phone bills, Connolly, who has been in a relationship with cinematographer, John Conroy, for over five years, decided to meet with Cornell in a hotel to find out more information.

"I did get in touch with the girl involved, and I arranged to meet her in a hotel – my hotel, which she did." she said.

"I just needed answers. I just needed the truth, and I needed to make sure stories collaborated. It was very hard to figure out who you can trust. So this was the answer to it. I was going to meet this girl, a quick 20-minute conversation, and we’d be done and dusted."

"And in fairness to her, she came and met me. But the 20-minute conversation turned into a couple of bottles of wine.

"After a few hours I realised she needed it as much as I did and I know it sounds very dramatic, but she was as much as a victim as I was. I think we both got something from it."

Connolly now works as a TV presenter and newspaper columnist

"Oddly, when we were saying our goodbyes, we gave each other a hug and wished each other well. It was really like ‘oh my God’ and we both just thought ‘this is a weird situation, we have found ourselves in a crazy situation.'

"When I look back, this is what it all boils down to: it was basically two girls in love with the same boy who over a five-hour conversation realised that that boy was not who we thought he was." Connolly continued.

Keating married Australian producer Storm Keating in 2015, and the couple had their first child together last year.

Cheryl addresses ‘abuse’ over X Factor performance

By Lucia Binding, news reporter

Cheryl has spoken out after receiving "relentless abuse" for her performance on Sunday night's The X Factor.

The 35-year-old singer, who used to be a judge on the ITV show, sang her new single Love Made Me Do It during the results programme.

Her performance included an energetic dance routine which saw her licking her hand while wearing a black bodysuit with over-the-knee boots.

Media Ofcom said on Monday it had received 15 complaints "objecting to sexual tone and clothing in Cheryl's routine".

After reading negative comments about her performance, Cheryl posted a long statement on Twitter.

It read: "I wanted to start by saying thank you all so much for your lovely comments and support for my performance on Sunday. You may not have read about them but I definitely saw and felt them!

Hey… 🥰 pic.twitter.com/D6izQ3NBTT

— Cheryl (@CherylOfficial) November 20, 2018

"Having spent 16 years in the public eye I have always been accepting of people's opinions. Me personally, my music and performances are never going to be for everyone. And that's OK."

"I let a lot of things lie but the sheer level of unbalanced negativity towards me in the tabloid press these past few days has been frankly shocking and I need to address it".

She continued: "This level of relentless abuse should not be tolerated in any walk of life. From my appearance, my body size and shape to my performance and even dragging innocent people into this like they did to Nile Rodgers simply for a clickbait headline is totally uncalled for. It also gives the trolls a bigger voice and platform.

"What's even more surprising to me is that some of these people are the first to write that we should be being more socially aware and conscious of online bullying and mental health awareness. Is this any different?"

Cheryl ended the post by thanking fans for "being strong minded enough to not be influenced by the negativity", adding: "PS… I did watch my performance back and I LOVED IT!"

Mandy Moore Matched Her Makeup to Her Pink Wedding Dress, and It Was So Dreamy

Mandy Moore followed an old-school beauty rule for her intimate wedding to Taylor Goldsmith on Nov. 18: she matched her bridal makeup to her pink Rodarte wedding dress, and it just worked.

Done by makeup artist and friend Jenn Streicher, Moore's makeup was soft and ethereal with glittery pink eye shadow, feathery eyebrows, and bronzed cheeks. For her hair, Ashley Streicher adorned Moore's glamorous waves with delicate clusters of baby's breath.

In an interview with POPSUGAR prior to her wedding, Moore said she didn't want to feel too "fussy or done-up" on the day of. "I just want to feel like the best version of myself," she said. "I've heard that brides regret their hair or makeup; that they sort of forced themselves into this idea of what they thought they should look like at their wedding. It wasn't true to who they really are. I don't want to fall into that trap."

Instead, Moore said she wanted to look "easy and breezy." She added, "Not too much makeup. I don't think I'll wear my hair up. I want to feel like myself and look back and go, 'Oh, my gosh, yeah. That was a special day, and I look like me still.'" Based on the pictures we've seen so far, we think it's safe to say she achieved that goal.
